Games from gamers

.....................................

Sand miner co.

Idle/incremental game where you create company that sells sand, gravel, concrete etc. This game is in 2d platformer perspective and uses pixel world simulations (where sand like blocks fall etc.). You start as sand miner (first loop, click sand to mine it from sandstone wall, move sand to transport truck and sell it), then you hire some helpers that you can later upgrade. Once you earned enough you will hit progress wall and then reset world, after each reset new mechanics will be unlocked, something like gravel, new machines, concrete and upgrades.

Road map

About me

I'm hobby game developer in my twenties, I work full time job and then work on my projects afterwards. I started many game dev projects but never properly finished any. This year I started to make my projects more professional and with that in mind I created this web. I will start posting public updates from my development to keep myself accountable. I want to finish projects I'm posting on this paged and release them even if they won't find success. If you want to follow my journey or give me any feedback you can join my discord and email list. A workspace featuring a curved monitor displaying a software development environment. In front of the monitor is a classic-style mechanical keyboard and a game controller resting against the screen, with a mouse to the side. A notebook with a sci-fi or gaming theme is placed next to the monitor. Sticky notes with handwritten reminders are posted on the wall behind the desk.

Current plan

With projects posted on this page I'm starting my active game dev journey. I'm going to do my best to finish it in best state I'm able to. I want to figure out if I have a chance to make it my living before giving it up.

Game dev history

Even though I never fully finished any from my previous games I learned a lot from them. My problem was always over scoping. I have been trying game dev for more than 5 years but very passively.
